The grapes of Alicante Bouschet, Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, coming from the Montenero d'Orcia vineyard,
in the first years they were vinified
and bottled individually.



The idea was to observe the behavior of the individual vines, their expression in relation to the soil and understand their potential.



During the refinement of the 2009 harvest, a test of blending gave life to a single wine in which the four varieties interact.
